In 2014, the parent company of Bubbies purchased the Othentic shelf stable line, and, after extensive research and sourcing, essentially cleaned up the line, reduced the sugar content where applicable, sourced higher quality vegetables, added additional spices where we felt it was warranted, and re-branded the product under the Cook's Pantry name. In a nutshell, we're aiming to provide healthy, delicious, and authentic pantry items for people who really care about food and love to cook. Each item uses the real old-world recipe, comes from the authentic country or region, uses simple ingredients, and is farm to jar (the produce is grown within a few miles of where it's packed).
