The Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative is a DoD program to develop and evaluate education and training technologies for U.S. military branches, other federal agencies, and international military partners. We establish standards and specifications for the delivery of high-quality, easily accessible, adaptable, and cost-effective education and training solutions. Our 2019 I/ITSEC focus is on Modernizing Learning and building a Future Learning Ecosystem to meet rapidly evolving demands for talent development among warfighters and civilian lifelong learners.
