Attavola was founded in August of 2003. From 1999 until 2003 the company was called “Sicilia Foods”. Attavola’s business is to represent the products of all the producer’s we work with to potential customers in the US and abroad.

Our goal is to offer exclusive and high quality products from meticulously selected producers, to the international marketplace. Attavola is the connection between the small artisan producer and the rest of the world. In particular Attavola works with exporting to The United States of America but also has customers in Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Korea and other countries in Western Europe.

Attavola offers only artisan products of the highest quality. In every case the artisans producers we work with are family owned and run businesses. The products are typical of the regions they come from.

We offer products that are unique and typical from the region where they are produced, and most of them are not easily available on the market because the producers mainly export through Attavola.

Like any small business our strategy is to grow and find many independent specialty food retailers throughout the USA who are willing to offer products which are not found anywhere else on their market.

Attavola’s success is closely related to relationship we have with all of our customers. Our customers know all of us by name and have met us at one point or another either in their stores or while visiting us here in Italy.

Furthermore, every customer we work with has had us in their stores to participate in in-store demos for both their customers and staff. We believe this can be considered one of the “keys” to help us selling our products. Many of your customers and staff will benefit from having an “expert” in their store actively selling the products you have selected from Attavola and explaining the story behind each product you sell.
