VFA Mission Statement: Using state-of-the-art flight simulation, provide inspiration, training, and mentorship to students, as young as age 10, for the pursuit of an Aviation career through a disciplined and mentored curriculum modeled after initial military flight training.
Three Key Areas for VFA: (1) Improve the quantity and quality of pilot candidates entering formal military flight training; (2) Reduce the cost to train these aviators through the first stage of military flight training; and (3) Improve minority representation for qualified Pilot Training Applicants.
