4505 Meats, a whole animal meat company, was founded eight years ago in San Francisco with chef-owner Ryan Farr doing whole animal butchery demos and pig roasts at bars throughout San Francisco. He fried pork skins in his Mission District apartment to use up every part of the hogs and he sold what he created -- his signature chicharrones -- to local bars, becoming a local favorite snack throughout the City. 



Our Chicharrones are still made from pork skin sourced from humanely-raised pigs from a collective of small family farms. The crisp and light texture comes from the kettle cooking, a tradition that dates back to the original chicharron. Plus, we fry the skins in lard to minimize waste and utilize all parts of the animal as part of our commitment to sustainable production. These crispy clouds of porkaliciousness will melt in your mouth!



Our signature chicharrones are now available in three delicious flavors: Classic Chile & Salt, Jalapeño Cheddar, and Smokehouse BBQ.



This salty & spicy snack is a great sidekick to beer, cocktails, or sparkling libations of all kinds. They are tasty with salsa, queso, dips, spreads, or guacamole. Our chicharrones are gluten-free, paleo certified, and offer 9 grams of protein per serving with zero carbs.
