Agroland S.A. is a Uruguayan company conformed by more than 4100 hectares focused to the production of added-value and high-quality fine foods and forestry.
Our history begins in 2000, when we discovered a new spot in 'Punta del Este' and started dreaming with "the small Tuscany" in Uruguay. Beyond 'La Barra' and 'Jose Ignacio', we can find new areas such as Garzon, which become part of the region mixing the sea with the hills. This peculiar scenario inspired the foundation to Agroland and offers the best environment for our plantations, neighboring Garzon town, where our crops fill the beauty of the landscape and the Italian inherited flavors are combined with our spirit to create foodstuff for gourmet's palates.
Our operations are characterized by the overall control of every process, from the spread of our own olive plantations and the harvest, up to the development, production, packaging and marketing of the final product for both regional and international markets.
In 2010, Agroland S.A. has certified its Quality Management System, by UNIT (Uruguayan Technical Standards Institute) together with AENOR (Spanish Association for Certification) and IQNet (International Quality Network). It is a national and international certification for the following processes: "Olive plants production - Olive trees cultivation and olives crop for oil crushing - Olive oil production, bottling and packaging." These achievements demonstrate and strengthen the company's commitment to quality management as one of its main pillars focused on all its processes.
The olive tree stands for the connection between a millenary history and a healthy heritage for future generations. Thus, in Agroland S.A. we combine the ingredients nature gives us with the aim of providing healthy products of the best quality, outstanding due to their beneficial properties for health and nutrition.
