F-500 Encapsulator Agent is the future of firefighting, able to rapidly cool, encapsulate hydrocarbons, rendering them nonflammable, and interrupt the free radical chain reaction. The result is faster knockdown, three-dimensional fire extinguishment, elimination of scalding steam, greatly reduced smoke and toxins and considerably less agent and water used. F-500 EA can replace multiple foams and powder on Class A, Class B, polar and nonpolar, and Class D fires. Plus, F-500 EA can be sprayed on fuel spills rendering them nonflammable. F-500 EA has been tested and recommended by ConEdison for energized transformer fires up to 345 kV and has multiple recommendations for lithium-ion battery fires, particularly involving electric and hybrid vehicles.
