A New Capability for Hazmat Teams
Cobalt's Resolve™ enables true through-barrier hazardous materials ID; a game-changing new capability for Hazmat teams. The system works through non-metallic barriers such as colored plastics, glass, paper, card, sacks and fabrics. Point-and-shoot, vial holder and non-contact modes are also available. Comprehensive library materials include toxic industrial chemicals, explosives, precursors, chemical warfare agents and narcotics.
Resolve enables operators to obtain a positive ID without opening or moving the container, meaning hazards stay contained. The system is fast, accurate, ruggedized and user-friendly; time spent in protective gear is reduced or used more efficiently. Measurements take about 1 minute (or less in some modes of operation), with no sample preparation or consumables needed. Resolve’s simple interface is controlled using 7 large buttons (with positive feedback), and is ideal for use in heavy gloves.
