Recognized as the 2018 South Carolina “Emerging Manufacturer of the Year”, AHT USA, a subsidiary of AHT Cooling Systems GmbH, headquartered in Austria, operates one of four global production sites for the AHT Group. AHT Group also earlier in 2019 was aquired by Daikin and is now a member of the Daikin Group. The strategic goal of our expansion was to add production, assembly, and audit testing capacity to our existing sales and service business. Led by a strong operations team, our facility received ISO 9001 and 14001 certification within 18 months of opening. The decision to expand our footprint in the United States was made to capitalize on the evolving grocery and convenience retail market in North America. Our commitment was to invest in a state-of-the-art facility to support the local production of our innovative, plug-in Multideck product portfolio that allows flexible and energy-efficient merchandising solutions for our food retail customers, and to ensure our organization is prepared to support the diverse needs of our customer base.
