As a third generation family-owned and operated business, Astin Farms has grown to be the largest independent strawberry producer in Florida. The Astin family established Astin Strawberry Exchange in 2001, once they were at a size where they could market and sell their own crops. Ten years later, the family expanded as they opened Astin Family Farms in Riverview, Florida, which would act as an additional packing and cooling facility. Together, Astin represents more than 50 million pounds of strawberries and blueberries each season. Expect to see the Astin label in The United States and Canada from November through May.
