Since 1990 Emfit is world leading manufacturer of electro active ferro-electret sensors and material. Cellular and permanently charged quasi-piezoelectric material is today used in many large scale industrial applications. It can be used to replace PZT or PVDF. It is 90 microns thin while completely shielded sensors remain under 400 microns. Acoustic impedance matching is excellent to air and water. Ringing is low and sensitivity is high up to to 85 C use temp. Large area sensors are highly competitive.
Emfit has focused its own end product development into real-time over the Internet operating smart bed solution called EMFIT QS. Today it is used by many partners in bedding and IT industry. EMFIT QS is complete solution including embedded calculation, Wi-Fi or 3G transceiver and web based software solution with easy scalability. It has had great traction in consumer and medical markets.
