Brumas del ZurquĂ Coffee is a familyowned
company dedicated to the
cultivation, processing, and roasting of
green coffee for both the domestic market
and export worldwide.
Brumas has been developed by four
generations of the Alvarado family, each
generation becoming increasingly
specialized in producing a high-quality
product. In Costa Rica, our plantations
are treated with biological and natural
fertilizers, always promoting regenerative
agriculture and a high-quality cup while
taking care of the environment.
Additionally, we are certified as
Regenerative Coffee producers.
From the farm, the coffee is taken to the
wet mill, where it is handled with highquality
standards to obtain an excellent
product. Once concluded, the coffee goes
to the roaster, where the final touches are
added to provide customers with one of
the best coffee experiences—transmitting
through each cup the love, care, and
passion of the entire Brumas team.
Brumas has won the Cup of Excellence at
least three times and continues to work
every day to deliver to customers the
coffee that best represents both the
company and Costa Rica
