MD-50 GEAR is an outdoor products company owned by hunters like you, having a passion to enjoy and explore the outdoors while doing everything possible to be successful and respect nature. Our products will prepare all levels of archers for those once in a lifetime memories. We came up with the name MD-50 because we're Mike and David. We’ve been best friends and hunting and fishing buddies for 50 years, having been blessed with incredible fathers who taught us to love and respect the outdoors. We still hunt and fish with my father who’s almost 90.
I'm an archery hunter, retired science teacher/coach/athlete who lived in Alaska and now Hawaii with 50 years hunting experience. I have invented two devices, the Archer’s Shot Saver and the Release and Fingers Trainers. These, custom fit tools, prepare all archers physically and mentally for practice or hunting. Replicating the draw motion thousands of times builds confidence and archery specific muscle-memory. Great for educating beginners.
