The Shoot Hero Mobile App is designed to take the hassle out or organizing and scoring an archery shoot. Here's how:
Registration: allow shoot participants to pre-register for your shoot through the app, including choosing categories, paying entry fees, and electronically signing any waivers. Then, when they show up, they can check themselves in to the event through the app, receive notifications about event start times, and view event and course information.
Scoring: each shoot participant can enter his or her score on each target. Double scoring can be used to preserve scoring integrity. After a score is entered on a target, the individuals score is totaled, and feeds directly to a scoreboard on the app and on a main computer at the head table. No more scorecards or hand-tallying scores.
Sponsorship Promotion: a key feature of the app is the ability to promote event sponsor recognition. Each event, shoot, and target can be sponsored and can receive recognition in the app. Social media contests or giveaways can be coordinated. The opportunities here are substantial and can be further tailored to specific shoots.
