At MYSTERY RANCH our roots are in the mountains. Born in Bozeman, Montana at the turn of the century (2000), we’ve made our home and our livelihood surrounded by the Bridger’s, the Gallatin’s, the Spanish Peaks, the Tobacco Roots, the Crazies and numerous other Northern Rockies ranges. Because of our love for these topographic treasures, these sanctuaries of high country flora and fauna, we chose to build our backpack business in the heart of these alluring peaks. For us, backpacks are tools to an experience… a means to an end. Whether that end is your passion – thru-hiking the Continental Divide Trail, dropping into big mountain couloirs, or elk hunting in your wallow. For others, carrying backpacks is part of your job – fighting wildland fires or representing your country on the frontlines. Either way, we make tools for carrying your necessary gear.
