The Ike Behar story began in Cuba circa 1948, where Ike Behar learned sewing and manufactoring techniques from his fater, the owner of La Confianza, a tailor shop in Havana. In a short period of time, he was hancrafting custom shirts to compliment his father's luxury suits.
