Citus data extends Postgres to allow you to scale out your data. Citus supports a number of use cases, but the two primary ones customers leverage with Citus are: 1. scaling out their SaaS application beyond a single database node and 2. being able perform real-time analytics across large datasets. Citus is open source, and also has a fully managed as-a-service offering on top of AWS.
