Back in the late 1960s, Ardo’ founder Werner Krähenbühl introduced the first Swiss Made electric breast pumps to hospitals and breastfeeding professionals in the USA. After founding Ardo medical AG in the early 1990s, Werner Krähenbühl and his family have been overseeing the development and manufacture of personal (Calypso, Amaryll) and hospital (Carum) breast pumps, Swiss Made in its headquarters in Unterägeri, Switzerland. The founder and his family, as well as and the entire global staff dedicate the knowledge, passionate commitment, and development to the well-being of mother and baby. Ardo medical also develops neonatal medical equipment as well as suction technology for hospitals.
