Cleerline SSF fiber optic cable’s proprietary patent pending coating simplifies many of the critical processes involved in the termination of fiber optic cable. Unlike all other types of fiber cables, with SSF fiber the user is no longer required to strip the acrylate “buffer” 900μm coating. SSF is a specialty fiber providing protection for bend longevity assured for up to 10,000X the bend insensitivity of standard fibers while providing vastly superior mechanical strength, increasing fiber tensile strength up to 400x compared to normal glass fibers. SSF provides these many benefits and at the same time eliminates the imperfections or scarring of the glass caused by stripping when terminating either mechanical splice or epoxy style connectors. SSF supports all broadband applications while it meets and exceeds the most stringent industry standards.
