‘City Gelato’ is making and distributing of fresh artisanal gelato through the state of Louisiana. Gelato is a frozen dessert similar to ice-cream but much healthier. It has two to three times less fat and only half of the trapped air than traditional ice-cream. It should not contain preservatives, artificial colorants, natural or synthetic flavors. Ours is also gluten free and rBGH free. The fruit versions, called sorbets, are made only with real fruit, sugar and water. We use Louisiana milk and cane sugar and fresh Louisiana fruit when in season (strawberries, peaches, cantaloupes, blueberries, meyer lemons, etc.)
'City Gelato' has 85-90 flavors which we package in 4oz, 1 pint and 1.25gal tubs. Our ideal customer is either a cafe or restaurant owner who likes to add gelato to their menu or a grocery store owner who would like to put our product in his freezer. Catering companies are welcome as well - we will save you dessert preparation time and you will wow! your customers serving our gelato. Finally, we can bring our attractive 6 flavor push carts to any event - corporate, public and private and serve fresh gelato to your customers.
