Conforma Clad technology was first applied in 1982 with our plant in New Albany, IN opening shortly thereafter. Conforma Clad’s unique cloth delivery system enables densely-packed tungsten carbide or Stellite™ alloy to be uniformly applied to complex geometries, providing a metallurgically bonded protective barrier that retains its exceptional wear characteristics through the full cladding. We also offer new & used rotary airlocks with solid carbide tiles as well as screw segments with the option of a tile combined with carbide cladding for the most extreme wear conditions. Conforma Clad technology has been used in many industries to protect critical components, however, extrusion equipment has long been a key focus for the Conforma Clad team who have decades of experience in this industry and are committed to offering superior products and service to their global customer base.
