Project 2050 is a program of the Arbor Day Foundation that facilitates the participation of stakeholder companies to help secure supply chain product availability through the following activities:  reforestation, carbon sequestration, and recognition of suppliers who have committed to good agroforestry management practices.

‘Carbon Insetting’ is an inclusive closed loop responsible business practice facilitating a company’s ability to directly invest in securing their agricultural supply chains through these fundamental actions:

-Funding of reforestation and agroforestry practices within coffee growing communities

-Investments in carbon sequestration. ADF reforestation projects that include abilities for carbon sequestration, we offer access to purchasing credits from areas where ADF funded trees were planted.

-Purchasing coffee from areas where ADF has planted trees, and from farmers who have been recognized for their agroforestry practices.
