Bruker Optics offers solutions based on FT-NIR spectroscopy for fast and reliable quality control of incoming pet food ingredients as well as the finished pet food. Samples can be analyzed non-destructively in seconds, saving costs by reducing time and reagent use.

Analyzing by TANGO or MPA II requires filling an easy-to-clean cup with the solid sample and presenting it to the analyzer. Ideal for pet food testing, the Tango features SMART I.D. that automatically selects correct calibration and the system is network capable with SQL database for remote access.

From improved control of incoming ingredients to more precise testing of fat, moisture, and protein, Bruker's analyzers are also used to monitor blending processes and assist critical processing steps. Existing calibrations and data are upwardly mobile and samples can be measured “as is” in seconds without time consuming sample preparation.
