I was born and raised in Texas with two older brothers. 

I was active in band (played saxophone) and theater through high school, then went to Oklahoma City University and graduated with a degree in Theater and Music. 

From there I moved to the Big Apple, New York City! “git a rope”. I lived and worked in and out of the city as a professional actor for several years then moved to warmer South Florida to continue my career and ultimately were I met my wife. 

As my first mid-life-crises approached at age 29 I decided that I needed a “real” job and accepted a position at RadioShack Headquarters as their Events Manager. I took to corporate life well where I was promoted to Director of Events for all of RadioShack including tradeshows, incentive programs and conferences. 

When the market tanked I hopped around from job to job as the Director of Hospitality and Events for the Marketing Arm, and experiential marketing agency and the Director of Marketing for Bluewater Learning, a learning management system consultant where I learned the ropes of managing a tradeshow booth. 

Finally, I was brought in to PRSM as their Director of Vendor Relations, a new position. When I arrived they were in the dark ages of conference planning and execution, using grease board floor maps and faxed contracts with hand written credit card payments. Can you imagine?  Not long after my arrival to PRSM and after my first conference experience with PRSM I hired a2z, Inc. to manage our floor plan and financials. Bringing a2z into the mix was a fight to say the least but proved to be the best decision I made in my almost 4 years with PRSM. Now as a team member, I plan to share my passion for a2z with anyone who will listen.
