Eriez is recognized as world authority in separation technologies. The company, headquartered in Erie, PA, manufactures and markets an array of state-of-the-art metal contamination control and material handling products through 12 international facilities located on six continents. Founded in 1942 by the Merwin family, Eriez is privately held and employs a total of about 1,000 people. Although food is Eriez’ largest single market, Eriez serves more than 80 other markets, including chemical, metalworking, mining, automotive, power generation, pulp and paper and pharmaceutical industries.
Eriez maintains industry’s largest magnetic and vibratory test laboratory at its Technical Center in Erie, PA. The center is staffed by professionals who test and analyze materials to suggest ways to detect, separate or move them more efficiently. Hundreds of tests are conducted each year on product samples from around the world. Services range from feasibility studies to flow-sheet development.
