Microjet Irrigation started in 1970 as a small plastics injection moulding company in Cape Town, South Africa. We specialised in precision plastic components made for many different industries, from fashion to electronics. In 1971 the Microjet sprinkler was developed and patented. It was a World First was very soon being sold internationally, especially in Florida USA. Microjet, along with drip irrigation, started the global move to low volume, low pressure irrigation which revolutionised the irrigation industry. Further developments by the company over the years have led to the creation of many more irrigation products: Stakes, stake assemblies and rigid risers to support the Microjets; Barbed and compression pipe fittings to join and repair irrigation pipes; and manifold systems and hose end products. Microjet has been marketing its products in the USA since 1971 and exports all over the world. We have an agency in Orlando, Florida and in Adelaide, Australia.
