Bonnecaze Farms was established more than 30 years ago by Tom Bonnecaze, Sr., fondly known to all as “Papa Tom”.  Papa had retired and needed something to keep him busy.  So, he decided that he would grow peppers and sell them at the local farmer’s market. Papa Tom and his wife, Lucille, planted and harvested peppers and then they manually dried the peppers and ground them for his seasoning mix and began selling their product at the local Farmer’s Market.  He soon expanded his line of products to include stone ground yellow grits, organic oatmeal, and corn meal. Every product was marked for excellence. 









Sadly, Papa Tom Bonnecaze passed away in May 2013.  His son, Ronny, who learned the product processing under Papa Tom’s eagle-eyed supervision, continues the legacy left behind.  No longer is Bonnecaze Farms just a hobby.   Today, Bonnecaze Farms, LLC is now a full-time thriving business.  Ronny strives to maintain the same principles, hard work, and dedication that Papa Tom exhibited in every aspect of his life and his business.
