Pure Line Seeds was founded in 1948 as a supplier of garden pea seed for the US and Canadian processing industry. From the Columbia Basin in Wasington state the company has grown to continually meet the demands of the global fresh market and processing markets.
Our research department has developed proprietary snap beans, green peas and edible-pod pea varieties. Under the direction of Benjamin Hughey, combined with partnerships with universities and select partners, we have been successful in developing top quality genetics through conventional non-GMO breeding practices resulting in millions of pounds of our varieties being used throughout the world.
In 2012 we expanded our product offering to include a diversified selection of vegetable seeds. We are excited to offer these new items to our customers.
