The Virginia Chapter of the Fire Fighter Cancer Foundation (FFCF) was established in 2018 in partnership with the Johnny Thomas Foundation (JTFF). Johnny Thomas was a Prince William County, Virginia firefighter who lost his battle with cancer in 2006. After Johnny's passing, the JTFF foundation was formed to provide guidance, emotional support, and financial assistance to firefighters and their families who are diagnosed with cancer.
The Virginia Chapter of the FFCF was formed in memory of Johnny Thomas. The Virginia chapter is dedicated to responder advocacy, education, and research for firefighters across the Commonwealth of Virginia with 100% of funds raised staying in Virginia.
