IKONICS AMS offers a machining service for composite materials. IKONICS uses a non-traditional process called Precision Abrasive Machining (PAM) to create perforations that can be any shape. Perforations have clean sidewalls, no pulled fibers and it does not delaminate the substrate. This service is great for applications such as engine liners, thrust reversers, blocker doors and other parts that require hundreds or thousands of perforations.
