Our proprietary bike shop insurance program addresses the inadequacies of “off the shelf” business owners policies as they pertain to the specific (and common) exposures that bicycle retailers have. Most BOP policies exclude coverage for Shop Rides, Bike Rental, Voluntary Property Departure. As the business practices of bicycle retailers continue to change, so has our program. We are able to cover sales/service of eBikes, mobile shops, beer/food sales. Our program is endorsed by NBDA, QBP, PBMA, and LEVA. We have 2 carriers that write these specific coverages for MMA.
