Southwest Research Institute® (SwRI®) is an independent, nonprofit, applied research and development organization headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. We are currently developing real-time network-centric solutions for airborne, ground tactical vehicle, automotive, smart grid, and space applications and have extensive experience with standards and technologies such as IPv4/v6, Multicast, SNMP, XML, IEEE-1588, iNET, CCSDS, TENA, and Spacewire. We also have extensive experience developing network-based flight test systems for commercial and military aircraft. We led the standards development for the iNET program and are currently leading the integration of the initial iNET demonstration system. SwRI uses multidisciplinary approaches to solve problems for a variety of government and industry clients.
