ORCA Technologies was created to address an industry need for a full featured portable/rugged time code generator which could synchronize to IRIG or GPS with size, weight and power (SWAP) and low cost in mind. This was accomplished with the introduction of the “Got Sync” series GS-101. The success of this product introduction and ORCA’s ability to design and manufacture precision timing products quickly and affordably provided the inertia to designing and manufacturing the RM-101, Radar Mile Generator, and the GS-102 and GS-102, Field Portable Clock, which added stand alone portability with an internal battery.
This year we are introducing the TTGM-101, TimeTap PTP Grandmaster, and the TT-101, PTP / Time Code Synchronized Generator. The TT-101 synchronizes to a PTPv2 default profile to provide a full-featured time code generator. Also being introduced is the SMS-101, System Matrix Switch, which can serve as a 4-input 12-output distribution unit or a dual A/B switch unit. In addition we are introducing a TS-101, PTP/IRIG/1PPS Test Set, which will measure the latency of a distributed timing signal.
