IMESAFR is a QRA tool used to calculate risk to personnel from commercial explosives operations based on donor structure, explosives type and activity, and the exposed site. IMESAFR is a supplement to traditional quantity distance tables. APT Research, Inc. developed IMESAFR on behalf of the Institute of Makers of Explosives.
