The Enterprise Services Center (ESC) of the U.S. DOT is a federal organization offering dependable solutions for government: Federal Financial System, Accounting Services, Data Center Services/Hosting, and Information Systems Security Services.
The ESC was designated by OMB as a Financial Management Line of Business (FMLoB) Shared Service Center for Financial Management in February 2005 and as an Information Systems Security Line of Business (ISSLoB) Shared Service Center for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and other Securtiy Services in January 2009.
We have over 6,200 financial system users and 21 financial system customers - including the Department of Transportation (55,000 employees and $98 billion annual budget).
