U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services-DATA Act PMO

Booth 312

Washington, DC
      United States

The U.S. Dept. Health and Human Services (HHS) is one of the largest Federal grant-making entities, managing over $1.3 trillion in public funds annually. HHS is the Office of Management and Budget’s executing agent for the grants portion of the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act of 2014 (DATA Act) Section 5 Pilot. The HHS DATA Act Program Management Office (DAP) oversees and provides the strategic framework for the Department-wide implementation of the DATA Act and the Section 5 Grants Pilot (Pilot).

DAP is conducting a series of six different Pilot test models to make recommendations to Congress related to reducing grant recipient reporting burden. DAP will conduct three of these Pilot tests – Single Audit, Consolidated Federal Financial Reporting, and Learn Grants – at the AGA PDT. (For more information on DAP’s pilot test models, please visit our website at www.hhs.gov/dataactpmo.)
