The Human Rights Committee is committed to providing human rights advocacy, education, awareness and societal change aimed at promoting freedom and rights for all humans.
The objectives of the Human Rights Committee are: (i) to increase awareness of universal human rights values and principles among counseling professionals and counselors-in-training; (ii) to advocate for human rights within the counseling profession; (iii) to advocate for human rights within the development of counselor identity; and
(iv) to establish and strengthen cooperation with the American Counseling Association and standing committees, school and community partnerships, and domestic and international partnerships.
