The Nicotap® Connector System for buried tracer wire is a simple and secure way to eliminate bad tracer wire connections while reducing expensive future dig-ins. Nicotap® addresses variables that contribute to a failed tracer wire splice: (1) everything is provided—sleeve and mastic. There are no mismatched crimps, forgotten supplies or compromised connections; (2) pre-cut mastic sealing compound is included so no measurement is required in the field which means no wasted material; (3) Nicopress® copper compression sleeve provides a proven, secure mechanical connection with superior conductivity characteristics. Running tracer wire does not need to be cut.
