Todd Binion is currently an Innovation Manager at State Farm where he is responsible for leading concept development and go-to-market work for the Innovation Team. In his current role, he leads all Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) related projects for the enterprise which include use of UAS for catastrophe response, property inspections, underwriting inspections and various R&D efforts. State Farm was the first insurer approved by the FAA for commercial UAS operations. Todd’s 18 year career at State Farm includes leadership roles in fire claims in-office and field environments as well as in the enterprise data center. He is a graduate of the Design Thinking Boot Camp at the Stanford d.school and has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations.
