As the Director of Talent Acquisition for Gold’s Gym, Wendy is responsible for designing and deploying recruiting strategies that attract internal and prospective external team members. She was tasked with working in partnership with the marketing team to weave the core brand elements into the career offerings while innovating and communicating the vision and mission of the business to attract talent that aligns with the vision, mission and core competencies of Gold’s. Wendy began her career with a sports and entertainment executive search firm specializing in front office executives for professional NBA, NFL and NHL teams. She then built a hospitality practice for another local search firm growing their executive recruitment business in the hotel/resort and casino industry to the #1 hospitality practice within the MRINetwork. Realizing her passion for hospitality, she then led the talent function for Remington Hotels and Ashford Hospitality, as well as Highgate Hotels. Each in acquisition mode, she used recruitment marketing tactics to attract candidates and build teams driven by the mission and culture of these brands.
