Monte Zaben is a Principal in the Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory practice based in Rosslyn, Virginia. Heleads Program Integrity Services within Deloitte’s Government and Public Services practice, and is the Lead Client Service Principal (LCSP) for the US Department of Education. Monte has held similar LCSP roles with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and with Freddie Mac. Monte’s experience related to Program Integrity Services includes consulting on fraud prevention and detection matters, fraud testing during external audits, and delivering process efficiencies via business process transformation. Prior to joining Deloitte as a Senior Manager in 1997, Monte had a four-year stint in the Washington, DC Federal marketplace where he served as a contractor Project Manager and Program Director for NASA (Goddard Space Flight Center), the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Monte Zaben began his professional career as a United States Marine Corps Officer, serving 12 years beginning in 1981. During that time Monte supported garrison organizations and fleet units as an Information Systems Management Officer; he attributes much of his professional success to that USMC foundation.
