Lieutenant Colonel Tory Burgess is a native of Camp Hill, PA. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. in Business Management and minor in Industrial Engineering in 1996. Lieutenant Colonel Burgess holds an MBA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in Army Aviation. Lieutenant Colonel Burgess comes back to Redstone Arsenal from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA (ALT)), where he has served for the past 3 years. During his time at ASA(ALT), Lieutenant Colonel Burgess served as the Executive Officer for the Principle Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisitions, Logistics and Technology, as a Department of the Army Systems Coordinator for Army Fixed Wing Platforms and as the Regional Command – South Acquisition Advisor to the Commander in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Lieutenant Colonel Burgess has served in a variety of Aviation and Acquisition assignments throughout his 18 year career.
