Mike Glasgow is a Lockheed Martin Fellow and is the chief architect for Lockheed Martin Aviation Services. He has led the conceptualization and implementation of UAS Traffic Management (UTM) capabilities deployed in Flight Services (accessible at www.1800wxbrief.com). Mike has 32 years of experience primarily in the Air Traffic Control and Flight Services application domains. Beginning in 2010, he led the modernization initiative for Flight Services and was awarded the 2014 Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) William A. Parenteau Memorial Award for those efforts. He previously served as the Chief Architect for the FAA’s Advanced Technologies and Oceanic Procedures (ATOP) program which modernized ATC automation for procedural airspace in the North Atlantic, Pacific, and Alaska regions. He has held leadership roles in the implementation of several other domestic and international ATC automation systems. Mike is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
