In its 19-year existence, Instrumental Music Center (IMC) has grown to dominate the Tucson market while many other music retailers in the area have shuttered. With two full-line locations (and a specialty in school music), IMC also has a strong focus on its core customer: moms in minivans, as co-owner Leslie Faltin says. Led by Leslie and her husband, Michael, IMC also hosts effective grassroots promotions, and Leslie has hosted strong NAMM U sessions on tips to improve the customer experience.
