Francis Rabuck is a Technology Research Analyst with a long career of contributions to the industry as a consultant, thought leader and internationally recognized expert in emerging technologies. His career of work with Wireless standards, RFID, Sensors, Data Analytics, 3D Printing and Visualization, and Robotics/Drones – are all part of the emerging IoT industry of today. He is a frequent speaker/writer, advisor and judge at major technology industry events. Fran is the Conference Chairman for the RoboUniverse Conference and has spent the last two years in launching this event and learning from the best minds in the Robotics industry. Fran was previously Director of Technology Research for Bentley Systems and responsible for discovering, evaluating, evangelizing and applying new technology in the lab. He has worked closely with FIATECH (www.fiatech.org) as the previous team co-champion for the Smartchips research projects and Technology Research in new materials, methods, products and equipment for engineering and construction applications. In 2006 he was awarded the first FIATECH STAR Award in recognition of his contribution to the industry. Fran also worked with the Construction Industry Institute and served on their Breakthrough Strategy Committee. Fran is member of the Global Advisory Council for the World Future Society (www.wfs.org) and one of the 100+ Experts driving future predictions through forecasting with Techcastglobal.org. Fran is also the co-author of the book – RFID for Materials Management and Productivity Improvement.
