Amanda Jo Amadon is a Senior Managing Director with Ankura. She specializes in risk management, claims avoidance, and dispute resolution on complex construction projects located domestically and internationally. For more than 15 years, clients have called upon Amanda to provide expert advice when faced with challenges on construction projects such as delays, disruptions, acceleration, suspension of work, defective design/specifications, differing site conditions, constructive changes, late owner-furnished materials, over-inspection, interference, terminations, subcontractor default, and mismanagement. Her experience spans a wide array of projects including vertical construction, stadiums, highways and bridges, power plants, radio and transmission systems, highway tolling, abatement, restorations/renovations, pipelines, heavy civil, and spent nuclear fuel storage facilities. Amanda assists clients on active projects in a project advisory capacity in addition to the analysis and development of claims from a dispute resolution perspective. Amanda has significant experience with Primavera and other scheduling software, which she utilizes to develop baseline schedules, prepare schedule updates, and analyze project delays. Amanda has also assisted clients in preparing and reviewing contractual notifications such as time extension requests. Amanda has extensive experience in supporting counsel and its clients in many facets of litigation matters. Amanda has provided services such as delay analysis, loss-of-productivity analysis, and issue analyses. Amanda has demonstrated the ability to simplify complex issues in a manner that is most useful in a variety of forums including mediation, arbitration, and trial.
