Debra Deininger is the President and CEO of Synkera Technologies, Inc. She has been with the company since inception, and has served in many roles, including Principle Scientist, Product Development, Product Manufacturing, Business Development and currently, Executive Management, where she is focused on Synkera’s growth and success as a world class provider of chemical sensor solutions. Debra has over 25 years of experience in gas detection, having started her career working in Applications Engineers and R&D at Mine Safety Appliances. She has developed and commercialized sensors for many different chemicals using both electrochemical and chemiresistive approaches. She has a BS in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University, and an MS in Analytical Chemistry from Colorado State University.
