Ralph Wilkins

La Porte ISD


Ralph Wilkins is the Director of School Nutrition for La Porte ISD, with over 10 years of menu planning, procurement, policy-writing, and nutrition leadership experience. He previously worked for La Porte ISD under the wonderful Mr. Gene Roblyer. Prior to his life in school nutrition, he was a clinical dietitian and a paralegal working in toxic tort and criminal justice. He’s also a veteran of the US Army 3rd and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Ralph holds a master in business administration from the University of Houston Clear-Lake, a master’s degree in nutrition from Texas Woman’s University, a bachelor’s in nutrition from the University of Houston, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in finance from the University of Houston Clear-Lake. He’s a nationally registered and Texas-licensed Dietitian as well as an SNA-credentialled School Nutrition Specialist.
