Dr. Belov received M.S. in electronics (1981) and Ph.D. in microelectronics (1989) from Moscow Physics Engineering institute (MPhEI). He works in the field of MEMS for 35 years. His area of expertise includes pressure sensors, accelerometers, electrostatic and electromagnetic actuators. In 1981-96 Nickolai held different engineering and management positions at MPhEI, including head of Sensoelectronics Lab position in 1992-96. In 1996 he moved with family to USA where he has been employed both by companies involved in volume manufacturing of MEMS devices (EG&G, Measurement Specialties, GE) and by startups (MegaSense, Nanochip). Currently he is wafer fab engineering manager at Amphenol NovaSensor.
