Colonel Glen M. Genove is the Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief, Command, Control, Communications, and Cyber (C4) Strategy, Integration, Resources, and Requirements Division (J68), Headquarters United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), Camp H.M. Smith, HI. He is responsible for C4 support across the largest regional combatant command enabling joint and coalition operations. In this capacity, he leads USINDOPACOM’s digital strategy, technology roadmap, C4 resourcing, and requirements programs supporting 375,000 joint warfighters at the headquarters, four component commands, four sub-unified commands and all joint task forces. Additionally, Colonel Genove manages a 58 million dollar Information Technology Portfolio and oversees USINDOPACOM’s cybersecurity, information and knowledge management, and command records programs to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiency throughout the full range of military operations. Colonel Genove was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, entering the U.S. Air Force in 1993 after graduating with Distinction from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was also an Air Force ROTC Distinguished Graduate. He held various cyberspace operations, communications and information, and force support positions, serving at the Squadron, Group, Wing, Numbered Air Force, Field Operating Agency, Major Command, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, and Unified Combatant Command levels. Most recently, Colonel Genove served as the Deputy Director of Air and Cyberspace Operations, Chief Information Officer, and Director of Cyberspace Forces, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
